Squads branding

At daily.dev, in addition to designing marketing assets, I took on the responsibility of building and maintaining brand awareness. When we introduced the "Squads" feature, we needed to establish our own squads to initiate the social aspect on the platform. Squads function similarly to groups, allowing members to share posts with their friends. I was responsible for designing branding for each squad and developing templates for their posts.

I understand this may not resemble real brand work, but I should mention that while at daily.dev, I assisted in developing their marketing brand guidelines and created their brand book. Feel free to explore the detailed work through the link below.

Oh this is the highlight!

Oh this is the highlight!

Oh this is the highlight!

A brand isn't just about looking good; it's the narrative people share when you're not around. It's the vibe and impression your brand leaves. Creating these mini-brands for squads was enjoyable – each aimed to evoke a specific feeling. In marketing and sales, it's like asking someone on a date, and the brand is the reason they say yes. It has to convey the brand essence upon exposure. Think of brands like Apple; they're the good-looking individuals. Yet, it's crucial not to judge a brand by appearances, although, unfortunately, in this industry, looks often determine success. Brands, much like people, have personalities. At daily.dev, we focused on a user-friendly personality, understanding the developer community's challenges, infused with a touch of humor through memes. Every interaction builds brand awareness, stressing the need for mindfulness in this aspect. The bottom line: a brand isn't just about looking pretty; it tells a bigger story. 💜
